AREAS OF SPACE, along with areas of my body, seem to twist, turn and spin in many directions at once, like organic gears gears that start out more sphere-like than two-dimensional, but wind up being compressed flat into two dimensions the deeper "in" I go. There are perhaps terms in physics to describe how an object can spin in many directions simultaneously, but I don't know what they are.
An example of this might be the contraption NASA uses to train astronauts, the one where a person is strapped into a device that looks like a series of concentric rings, and then is sent spinning along different axis (sorry, I don't know what the plural of "axis" is). Anyway, things get all stirred up, space seems able to pass through itself yet retain it's integrity somehow.
